History
Emerald Express was started in 1988 by twin sisters, Denice Buckland and Donna Golbach (nee Sinclair), based on their experience working with airlines transporting freight for clients through Los Angeles International Airport. The company was one of the very first female owned of its kind and was quickly awarded a customs bonded license and holds that license to this day. The pair of twin sisters grew the company to support a multitude of capabilities including local and long-distance transportation, warehousing, drayage and storage. Over time, the company grew its core-competencies to manage client needs that not only spanned California, but all of North America.
Through the long history of the company, Emerald Express has focused on developing lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with its clients. It remains dedicated to client service and satisfaction to ensure freight is delivered safely, efficiently and competitively.
